Dr. William Miller has practiced medicine since 1971, and women’s health since 1977, but says he has never worked anywhere quite like the new Christus Trinity Clinic - OB-GYN.
“We’re just so excited to have a new facility, to expand our ability to take care of our patients,” Miller said. “The surgery aspect is what I really enjoy. I enjoy having patients I’ve seen for 30 years, and then their families and kids.”
Miller is now one of 10 OB-GYN physicians at the new women’s health facility, at the Tyler Medical Park. The 15,000-square-foot facility replaces the three OB-GYN centers already in the Trinity Mother Frances health system.
It will have 30 exam rooms, two sonogram rooms, a fetal non-stress test room and eight restrooms.
“The number of women we serve from Tyler and the surrounding areas has continued to grow over the last several years, and as providers, we recognize the need to expand our facilities to meet their needs,” Dr. Paul Fanning said. “The location is beautiful, updated, easily accessible for our patients and has space to expand should that need arise in the future. I know I speak for everyone in the clinic when I say we are truly thrilled to get to work serving patients here.”
The new clinic will be open to patients on Monday and will be open 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to noon Friday.
The clinic also will host an open house from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday with food and live music in the clinic’s lobby.
The clinic is in Suite 104 at 1720 S. Beckham Ave. in Tyler. For more information, call 903-675-1725, or visit christustrinityclinic.org.
