One person is dead after a multi-vehicle wreck on Texas Highway 64 East between Turnertown and Henderson.
Emergency personnel responded to a report of a wreck at 9:15 a.m. Monday, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
A preliminary crash investigation revealed a Chevrolet Tahoe traveling west ran into the back of a Honda sedan that was stopped for a flagman in a construction zone. The crash caused a chain reaction, pushing the Honda into two other cars.
The driver of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene. The person’s identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
The driver of the Tahoe and one of the other cars involved were taken to ETMC Henderson.
