Armed robber who stole marijuana and a gun in custody, accomplice still at large

Tyler police arrested a man they believe robbed victims at a Tyler apartment and stole a pound of marijuana and a gun on Nov. 14. 

Devonte Antoinne Black, 23, of Tyler  was taken into custody Monday in the 1600 Block of Rice Road by the Tyler Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force, according to a news release.

Black was charged with aggravated robbery and was found to be in possession of marijuana when he was arrested.

He was booked into the Smith County jail shortly before 9 p.m., and is held on a $250,500 bond.

Another suspect in the robbery at Fox Run Apartments remains at large. Police are still looking for 19-year-old Dikembi Spencer. He is considered to be armed and dangerous.
